2) What is VPN mission?
The mission of the Vietnamese Professional Network (VPN) is to make a positive difference in the lives of Vietnamese professionals and business owners. We will assist our members to become successful through professional development, networking and promoting Vietnamese American values.

3) How does VPN accomplish the mission?
VPN accomplishes this mission through the networking of Vietnamese professionals and business owners. Our activities/events cultivate interaction and build both social and business relationships among the members. Through our growing network, VPN is able to help businesses and communities in the future.

4) What are VPN's activities and events?
Once a month the staff meeting with meeting minutes published on the web site. Activities are both social and business. Some examples are:
• After-hour social network nights
• Business panel discussions
• Career advising and mentoring workshops
• Job referrals
• Mock interview event
• Dragon boat race competition
• Sports activities and tournaments
• Camping, biking, skiing, and other outdoor trips
• Vietnamese cultural events
• DVD swap nights

Certain events are for members only, and other will be open to the general public. Generally there is a fee to participate, however members attend free or receive a discount.

5) Does VPN have calendar with events for next 12 months?
Not completely. Some are planned yearly events, while others are held as VPN completes it's planning.

7) What is the benefit of joining VPN?
Be a part of a network of career-minded people who have a strong interest in social/professional networking, professional development, and community service. The benefits of belonging to a network of peers have been well proven and demonstrated by many organizations. (see our testimonials) Through direct mutually beneficial relationships amongst the members there are many benefits for example: job referrals, business contacts, career advice, advice in a new domain, etc. These benefits can be attributed to a strong relationships with VPN peers. Members also receive discounts on VPN sponsored events (Refer to question 18 for more information).
